Stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer and BMW M built up the on-track excitement ahead of eni Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland on Sunday, and MotoGP riders completed a lap of the circuit in BMW M3 convertibles.
Stunt rider Chris Pfeiffer treated the crowd to a display of his skills aboard a BMW F800R at the Sachsenring circuit on Sunday morning, while the MotoGP riders took part in the traditional parade lap ahead of the race.
BMW M, the official car supplier of the MotoGP World Championship, had various attractions planned ahead of the eni Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland, first with German star Chris Pfeiffer perfuming in a stunt show for the Sachsenring crowd on a BMW Motorrad F800R, showing off the skills that have seen him take four stunt riding World titles in recent years.
Just after Sunday's warm up sessions and ahead of the races the entire MotoGP field took in a lap of Sachsenring aboard BMW M3 convertibles, giving fans a closer look at today's riders.
BMW M is also the sponsor of the best qualifier award, which will be awarded at the end of the season to the best performing rider in qualifying practice throughout the season. World Championship leader Jorge Lorenzo currently sits at the top of the BMW M Award standings ahead of Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa. Come the season finale in Valencia in November, the winner will drive home a brand new M3 Coupe.
