Hector Barberá gains positive first impressions of Aragón

Last week’s Moto2/125cc test at the Motorland Aragón circuit was also attended by a few MotoGP faces, as they took the opportunity to have a first look at the circuit which will be visited for its first World Championship GP on September 19th.

In baking conditions and with temperatures close to 40ºC the entire Ducati rider line-up – with the exception of Casey Stoner – was present and the trio of Nicky Hayden, Aleix Espargaró and Héctor Barberá all made some observations of the layout on a Suter 600cc machine.

The Páginas Amarillas Aspar rider enjoyed 15 laps of the circuit last Wednesday, and told motogp.com: “It’s a complete track – every corner is a fast one, the straight is very long and it goes downhill and uphill. Every track in Spain is special for me, and this is a new one which I like.”

You can see footage of Barberá on track accompanying an interview with the MotoGP rookie in the attached motogp.com video.
