Valentino Rossi plans to make his MotoGP return during this weekend's German MotoGP round at the Sachsenring, just six weeks after breaking his right leg at Mugello.
The reigning seven time MotoGP champion's return is one month earlier than his own initial target, of Brno on August 15, but after two tests on an R1 borrowed from the Yamaha WSBK team and the green light from his doctors, Rossi is ready to try.
Assuming Rossi gets the green light from the FIM medical officer, the 31-year-old Italian will be back on his Fiat Yamaha during Friday practice.
Eleven rounds remain in the 2010 season, so we want to know how long you think it will be before Rossi stands on the top step of the podium once again?
