The Pramac Racing Team has sent its best wishes to Randy de Puniet, who fell and was then clipped by Mika Kallio during Sunday's German Grand Prix at Sachsenring.
The team released the following statement on Monday:
"COME BACK SOON RANDY
"The incident happened yesterday during the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring circuit, saw Mika Kallio, Pramac Racing Team rider, involved in an accidental incident with the French rider Randy De Puniet. The Finn and the Pramac Racing are close to the rider and the LCR Team and wish him a speedy recovery and they hope to see him soon back on track soon. Get well soon Randy!"
de Puniet fractured his leg tibia and fibula in the incident, while Kallio's team-mate Aleix Espargaro and Suzuki's Alvaro Bautista also crashed after hitting de Puniet's bike.
Espargaro was diagnosed with a cracked vertebra, but Doctors are currently studying scans to determine if it was caused by the fall, or a previous accident.
