Four World Championship riders visited ‘Miniwelt’ – a German theme park with miniature models of famous buildings – in the official pre-event of the eni Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland.
Moto2 stars Thomas Lüthi (Interwetten Moriwaki Moto2), Stefan Bradl (Viessmann Kiefer Racing) and Arne Tode (Racing Team Germany) and 125cc rider Sandro Cortese (Avant Mitsubishi Ajo) all paid a visit to ‘Miniwelt’ on Thursday, ahead of the eni Motorrad Grand Prix Deutschland.
The quartet took a tour of the park, which houses miniature reproductions of famous buildings including the Statue of Liberty, the White House, the Taj Mahal and the Tower of London, admiring the detailed work as they prepared themselves for round eight of the 2010 season.
German trio Bradl, Tode and Cortese were all excited at the prospect of their home GP and are all targeting strong results, with Bradl making his return after missing the previous round at Catalunya through injury. Swiss rider Lüthi explained that he would treat the race as his home event due to the strong following support that will be present, as he defends his second position in the Moto2 standings.
