MotoGP World Championship leader Jorge Lorenzo experienced the new Aragon grand prix circuit for the first time on Wednesday.
Aragon has joined the 2010 MotoGP calendar as a one-off fixture following delays with the planned Hungarian round.
Although unable to use his Fiat Yamaha YZR-M1, Lorenzo was able to lap the circuit on an R1 Superbike.
“It is a fun circuit with very different turns," he told the official MotoGP website. "The first turns are similar to Turkey and others seem like Misano. I hope that people who live close to here come and support the Spanish riders. I'm looking forward to racing here.”
The Aragon Grand Prix, from September 17-19, will be the third of four 2010 MotoGP rounds to be held in Spain.
