The Moto2 Championship leader and the former JiR Moto2 rider were both present at the San Marino circuit for a two-hour test on Sunday.
Toni Elías and Mattia Pasini were the sole attendees at a two-hour Moto2 test at the Misano circuit on Sunday (August 8th), where the duo took to the World Championship track between the hours of 6pm and 8pm.
Moto2 Championship leader Elías remained on track for an hour-and-a-half as he and his Gresini Racing team set about trying to improve the top speed of his Moriwaki machine, in preparation for round nine at Brno this coming weekend. The new elements will be used from Friday at the Cardion ab Grand Prix Czech Republic, although there are no aerodynamic modifications to his bike.
Pasini was working with the Italtrans STR team for a second time, having assisted them at the Aragón test at the start of July. The Italian helped the team to prepare for the Gran Premio Aperol di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini which takes place at the circuit on September 5th, at which he will ride for them as a third entry. Pasini’s best time of the short test was a lap of 1’42.6.
